Vasse Newtown will be a completely self contained community boasting the renowned Vasse Primary School, the new $25 million Cape Naturaliste College, a $100 million state-of-the-art health precinct, a community centre, parks, man-made lakes, sporting and recreational grounds, and a vibrant village-style town centre with cafes, restaurants and small business opportunities.

 

Vasse Newtown will be home to some 2000 families living in a traditional village community, complete with town square, parks and community halls. Clusters of villages will feature a choice of solar orientated cottage lots, family homesites and homesteads. Located on the western perimeter, Vasse Newtown’s light industrial business park will offer a host of exciting new business opportunities and commercial premises for enterprising local trades and businesses and established state and national businesses alike. A new integrated health precinct is centered around the region’s major new 75-bed Busselton Hospital facility. This is co-located with a 95 bed aged care hospital being developed by Aged Care Australia and a 150 bed Villa-style St-Ives retirement village providing a broad range of allied health, medical and aged care services for the entire region’s growing population.
